process

I moved to Houston in 1982 and attended the Art Institute of Houston where I had the opportunity to design many different genres in the program.  As soon as I designed a restaurant, a light bulb went off and I found my passion ~ Hospitality Design.  During my senior year, I begged my way into the largest Hospitality Design firm in Houston and offered to work for free as an intern.  My plan worked and upon graduation I was offered a full-time position working there and another design firm as a consultant for four years before I established my own design firm.  36 years later ~ what a ride it has been!

I balance my business creative calling with my personal creative desires enjoying cooking, gardening, being anywhere in nature, meditating and exploring the amazing cultures revealed while traveling. I am inspired by all of these creative outlets that drive my passion for interior design concepts and elements that connect us all to the Universe and pushes design for human connection through the senses.

My creative approach — no matter what type of project — is to foster human connection; empower, mentor, and teach my associates and clients; to push design by creating the best sensory experience for the project.
